Sixers Drop Final Game of Trip

No Answer. That's the headline at comcastsportsnet.com, and ain't it the truth. The Nuggets take one from the Sixers, 109-96, behind 38 points and 8 assists from former Philly star Allen Iverson. Carmelo Anthony (out of Syracuse of course) had 23. Andre Miller leads the way for Philly with 22 points. Sammy Dalembert pulls down 15 boards for the Sixers and Andre Iguodala has his second straight quiet game, with just 14 points.

It was AI's second game in Denver against his former team, a team that now contains very few familiar faces: Andre Iguodala, Willie Green, Sammy Dalembert, and Lou Williams.

The Sixers wrap up the six game Western swing at 2-4, which isn't terrible. However, .500 was absolutely doable. The Sixers left Philadelphia a surging team. They return having left Kyle Korver out west with the knowledge that no one's spot on the roster is secure. We'll have to see if the team can pull itself back together and start winning some games again.

Philly hosts Milwaukee on Tuesday night.
