Sixers Still Skidding

Philly dropped another one in Toronto last night, 109-96. The loss was the fifth straight for the Sixers-- a season high. The Sixers were down just two at halftime and cut a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to six points but it wasn't enough.

As the team continues to struggle, everyone wants answers. A frustrated Andre Iguodala after the game: "I'm upset we're not playing up to our ability late in games. We get times where we're down in a game, mentally. It's just tough losing."

The Coach didn't have any words of wisdom. In fact, he seems more confused than the players: "We'll look at the film and see if there's something we can change and go from there."

The Stat Line:
- Willie Green led the Sixers with 18 points
- Andre Iguodala: 16 points, 7 rebounds
- Thaddeus Young: 16 points
- Andre Miller: 14 points, 7 assists.

Good numbers overall. The team continues to get balanced scoring yet cannot find a way to win.

The Sixers are now 0-3 against the Raptors this season with one more game on January 19.

Philly has given up at least 109 points in four of its five losses during this streak. Time to play some defense boys.

Elsewhere in the NBA, the Celtics lost their fourth game last night... 95-83... AT HOME... to the Bobcats. I know what you're thinking... What? Excuse me? The Bobcats? Ray Allen and Big Baby were out, but Bill Walton says that's no excuse. Now 29-4, Boston missed its chance to set a record for fastest team to 30 wins. They can still tie it though-- the 1959-60 Celts were 30-4.
